Sami Elu 割り箸ピアノ

Sami Elu is a street musician who performs with an instrument he built out of bamboo chopsticks called the [割り箸ピアノ ]“Chopstick Piano.” I happened to meet him on the street while carrying an old DV camera and casually asked if he’d be open to doing a short interview. When I first heard his music, it felt incredibly calming and seemed to carry a message even without words, with a quiet, soothing energy that made people stop and listen, so in that moment I felt it was something worth capturing and decided to record it, turning the footage into a spontaneous and honest documentation of that encounter.
